Journey to Surrogacy

(For applying gestational carriers)

A Supported Journey

A Supported Journey: Becoming a surrogate is one of the most generous decisions a woman can make — and it’s not one to take lightly. Carrying a child for someone else asks for your time, your body, and your heart, and the impact on the family you help is immeasurable.

Because so much is entrusted to our surrogates, we care for them just as deeply. Every carrier is supported by genetic and wellness screening, maternal health and nutrition monitoring, and a dedicated team — through pregnancy and beyond. In return for your commitment, you’ll be guided by experienced experts, compensated fairly, and never left to navigate the journey alone.

Surrogate Compensation

Surrogate Compensation: Surrogates bring new life into the world and help build families — and that deserves real recognition. Our compensation package reflects the dedication surrogacy asks of you, covering the cost, time, and commitment of the journey. We make sure our surrogates are fully supported, fairly paid, and never out of pocket — at every step.

Paid in monthly installments across your pregnancy, beginning once a heartbeat is confirmed. Your base reflects your experience as a surrogate and the state you live in; first-time and experienced carriers are compensated differently.

On top of your base pay, monthly allowances cover the everyday realities of surrogacy: a monthly stipend, maternity clothing, childcare and housekeeping support during bed rest, and travel to appointments.

Additional compensation for key medical milestones, such as embryo transfer and any invasive procedure or C-section, should one be needed.

Every out-of-pocket expense tied to your journey is reimbursed — co-pays, prescriptions, mileage, and lost wages for you or your partner. Submit a receipt and we handle the rest. You should never pay out of pocket to be a surrogate.

Begin Your Journey

Begin Your Journey: Thank you for considering surrogacy with RHEA GenWell. Our pre-screening questionnaire asks a little about your medical history, family situation, citizenship, and lifestyle, so we can see whether you meet our initial qualifications. It takes about 10 minutes — and if you qualify, our team will reach out to guide you into the next phase.

The Next Steps in the Process

The Next Steps in the Process: After you submit your application, we conduct a thorough physical and psychological evaluation for every qualified candidate — so we can be confident the baby will develop in a healthy, safe environment. Here’s a broad look at the next few steps in this life-changing journey:

Step 1
Prescreening & Initial Application

After meeting our requirements, you’ll complete an application on our website. It only takes a few minutes.

Step 2
Background Check & Medical Records Review

With your written consent, we’ll run a background check and request your medical records for review.

Step 3
Phone Consultation & Screenings

Surrogacy is a very personal journey, so we’ll reach out to learn more about your story — then schedule a series of medical and psychological screenings.
