9 Simple Steps to Surrogacy

Step 1

Initial Application & Contact

After you complete the surrogate application, a coordinator reaches out to review your details, explain the process, and answer your questions. You’ll also complete forms allowing a background check and medical records request.

Step 2

Surrogate Profile Questionnaire

You’ll tell us more about yourself and your family. This helps us know you better and builds the confidential profile shared with intended parents.

Step 3

Medical Records Review

Our fertility specialists review records from your most recent pregnancy to confirm you’re medically ready for surrogacy.

Step 4

IVF Clinic Medical Screening

At our IVF clinic, you’ll have a physical exam, bloodwork, infectious-disease and prenatal testing, a drug screen, and an ultrasound. Your partner will also complete infectious-disease and drug testing.

Step 5

Genetic & Wellness Screening

As part of our science-led approach, we complete genetic and wellness screening — an extra layer of care that supports the healthiest possible match and journey.

Step 6

Psychological Screening

You’ll meet with a licensed psychologist to ensure you feel mentally and emotionally prepared for the journey ahead.

Step 7

Matching & Contract

Once you’re approved, matching begins. You’ll review intended parents’ profiles before a match meeting, then enter a legal contract represented by an attorney.

Step 8

In Vitro Fertilization

You’ll begin fertility medications to prepare your body for embryo transfer, attending monitoring appointments along the way. Throughout, you can follow every milestone in our platform.

Step 9

Pregnancy and Delivery

About four weeks after transfer, you’ll have your first ultrasound, then transition to your own OB/GYN. With our continued maternal and wellness support, you’ll carry the pregnancy to term — delivery typically follows around 38 weeks.
